Chapter Excerpts

The book is organized for maximum user-friendliness. I cover many areas of British life in twenty-two chapters.   Each chapter has a sort of glossary at the end, but I'm not aiming to include every different word that might come up in the UK, - only the ones that will be totally meaningless to Americans.   I also give readers a relevant resource guide at the end of each chapter, in the form of extremely useful web sites.
